Diagnosis and treatment services of these diseases and microbiological laboratory studies are carried out by Infectious Diseases and Microbiology units. There are many types of diseases that fall into the field of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. In our hospitals, the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of all kinds of diseases caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites are carried out meticulously by multidisciplinary teams consisting of specialist physicians and health workers in the light of up-to-date information.

In our department; all diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, AIDS, jaundice (hepatitis), typhoid fever, brucellosis, tuberculosis and similar diseases, febrile diseases, urinary tract infections, influenza, diarrhea, respiratory tract infections, Many diseases such as brain and spinal cord infections such as meningitis, encephalitis, soft tissue infections, diabetic foot infections, food poisoning, intensive care and surgical field infections are treated. In addition to the follow-up and treatment of these diseases, travel vaccinations, adult immunization (vaccination), travel medicine consultancy services are also provided. The Infectious Diseases Unit also does the necessary work to control and monitor nosocomial infections and to minimize these infections; provides training on this subject to the patient, patient relatives and related personnel.
